Finding the Joy...

"And the true realism, always and everywhere, is that of the poets: to find out where joy resides, and give it a voice far beyond singing. For to miss the joy is to miss all." -- Robert Louis Stevenson

This one little bit of sage wisdom has completely transformed my life. It's really that simple.

Find the Joy.

Choose the Joy.

Really! It's THAT simple!

yes! If only I didn't have the two nagging thoughts that pop up almost as soon as I settle into the joy and sigh with happiness.

The evil twins are: "you should be doing something productive" and "this is too good to last. catastrophe is just around the corner."

what unpleasant company. i need to figure out how to release them!
Thanks for the reminders, Karen! I miss you! Are you all up for some houseguests sometime soon??

You are so full of mama wisdom!!! Let us know how the interview went for hubby. Did he have to stay home b/c of an illness? I know he was sick around that time.
